Training Aircraft
A 2004 American Champion Super Decathlon (8KCAB) is flown in training with Ozark Aerosports. Additional tailwheel planes owned and flown by Rich and his wife Chris, also a pilot, include the YAK 52TW, Citabria, Cub and De Haviland Chipmunk. Rich has experience in Pitts Special, also having flown the T-6 and P51 mustang.
Our basic aerobatic course includes stalls and upset/unusual attitude recoveries; followed by introduction to, and instruction in, safe execution of aileron rolls, loops, half Cuban eights, hammerheads and barrel rolls. This syllabus typically requires 4-5 flights plus ground training but may be tailored to the students experience and needs.
